    Biography

    Linda Lucía Santana is an artist from California working in painting, drawing, printmaking, and metals. She earned a bachelor's degree in printmaking with a minor in anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Master of Fine Arts degree in printmaking from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

    Linda was honored as the Featured Artist by the Hispanic Women's Network of Texas-Fort Worth Chapter in 2013 and the following year she was named one of the "13 Young Latina Artists Changing the Contemporary Art Landscape" on Huffington Post. She is a dedicated educator and founded and created the printmaking and metalsmithing studios at Idyllwild Arts Foundation in Idyllwild, California, where she taught for over a decade and served as Chair of the Visual Arts Department.

    Linda recently relocated to the beautiful Pacific Northwest where she serves as Associate Professor of Art at Pierce College and maintains her artistic practice.
